RentPath’s island booth seamlessly integrated an experiential circus-themed space with a modern, mobile office space used for informal meetings, product demos and closing business. Meetings were held in a branded and customized 30’x16’ modular structure provided by Event Architecture.

Event Architecture, a provider of modular architectural structures for brand activations, retail pop-up shops, trade shows and other live events, is pleased to announce that its client RentPath earned best in show honors for its island booth at the National Apartment Association (NAA) Apartmentalize show in Denver, Colorado, June 25-28, 2019. For the second year in a row, RentPath turned to Event Architecture to create the temporary meeting space for the event.

For 2019, RentPath chose Event Architecture’s single-story mobile structure to provide both a lounge for informal meetings and a separate space for more private meetings. Unlike 2018, where the client opted for two separate, smaller structures, this year’s activation utilized one larger, 30’x16’ unit that was divided by a custom-fabricated partition wall constructed of wood.

The modular meeting space also featured comfortable, informal chairs and couches on one side, with demo kiosk stations and seating on the other side, where sales reps could do product demos and close business. The mobile structure was customized with graphic wraps on the exterior and hanging graphics on the interior. Modern flooring, lighting and accessories completed the space.

According to Sales Consultant Kevin Colis, who specializes in brand experiences, the portable meeting space integrated seamlessly with the other portion of RentPath’s booth, a circus-themed experience entitled “The Renter’s Journey of Unfortunate Events.” The booth design even included graphics of talk bubbles hanging over the aisle that connected the renter’s journey experience to the business side.

Says Colis, “I love how RentPath chose to integrate the two spaces together and how the experiential renter’s journey aspect of the activation flowed into the business side where the mobile structure was set up. It was a fun project to work on.”

Colis looks forward to working with RentPath on future activations. “Frank Jones, the Creative Director for RentPath, and his team are terrific people to collaborate with because they always come up with such innovative ideas. They are very deserving of this recognition for the activation at NAA Apartmentalize, and I was grateful to play a role in it,” Colis says.
